Health Recruitment Specialists (HRS) has assisted Wodonga Regional Health Service with one senior appointment to our Management  Team – the Nurse Manager for the Perioperative Suite.

Ballarat District Nursing & Healthcare have engaged Health Recruitment Specialists to assist with two major appointments in recent times. One was to recruit a Director of Corporate Services and the other to provide a Chief Executive Officer for our organisation.

The Director of Corporate Services was a new position, after a comprehensive restructure of our organisation and we were provided with advice on selection and a range of good applicants was sourced to provide a suitable person to fill this position.

The Chief Executive appointment relied extensively on the HRS network of contacts and they sourced 22 applicants for the position.  Our committee of Management required the person have good health qualifications and experience, and the ability to be entrepreneurial in their thinking.  We were fortunate to attract several people who met the criteria, however after interviews, settled for a person a little younger than we intended with exactly the right background and personality to handle this complex role.
